Milestones

  • The Czech National Bank granted VIG RE zajišťovna, a.s. a license to carry out reinsurance activities, valid from August 8th 2008.
  • This made VIG RE zajišťovna, a.s. the first reinsurance with a Czech license and beginning in September 2008 it commenced its business activities in Prague.
  • October 2008 – Rating "A+ Outlook stable" obtained by Standart and Poors.
  • January 1st 2009 – treaty reinsurance underwriting commenced for all lines
